Tron founder Justin Sun’s marketing efforts have gone into some other direction altogether, which some like Eth people might say is stating out what’s real for once, as he outrightly called his own crypto a sh*tcoin.
In an impromptu interview with Peter McCormack, Tron founder called Tron a sh*tcoin repeatedly and urged investors to buy it.
Seemingly inebriated, Sun replied to McCormack’s question, if Tron is a valid coin or shtcoin, jokingly “it’s a ”shtcoin.”
Though in bad optics, Sun’s reply to McCormack’s tweet “LoL ” seemed to be enough for TRX supporters who took it in fun.
Find an Entry
“Justin Sun admits Tron is a shitcoin on video. ”Shitcoin” will go back to being a positive term and outlandish narratives will be created to explain away the 2 year black swan after alts mark up hard. Let go of whatever bias you have against longing vapor and find an entry,” said popular trader CryptoGainz.
Enjoying Lunch with the Legend Investor
Recently, the Chinese crypto entrepreneur finally shared his meal with billionaire investor Warren Buffett. Back in July, the lunch that was won with a record $4.57 million donation to a Buffett supported charity was postponed with Sun citing health issues.
On Jan. 23, Sun along with four other crypto advocates including Litecoin creator Charlie Lee; Helen Hai, head of Binance Charity Foundation; Chris Lee, CFO of the crypto exchange Huobi; and Yoni Assia, CEO of eToro had an over 3-hour dinner at the Happy Hollow Club in Omaha, Nebraska.
Debbie Bosanek, assistant of Buffett who referred Bitcoin as “rat poison squared” in 2018 said the pair had an “interesting and enjoyable discussion” at the dinner.
”It was really an honor and I am grateful for Mr. Buffett’s dinner, wisdom and vision,” Sun said. “I’ll always remember his kindness and support, and will take Mr. Buffett’s advice and guidance to make Tron a better ecosystem, business with all the partners in the blockchain space and beyond.”
Sun also presented Buffett with a slew of gifts that involved a Samsung phone loaded with one bitcoin and several TRX equivalent of the 89-year-old’s birthday.
The 29-year old is also considering joining the Giving Pledge with Buffett and Bill gates to donate a bulk of his fortune to charity, according to Tron spokesman Ryan Dennis.
